I am finally free of the three to four nightmares I endured every night for more than 17 years. I am sleeping better, feeling better than I can remember. My hyper-vigilance has been replaced with a sense of inner peace.- Art F., Captain/Company Commander, US Military

"Invisible Heroes" are those brave souls among us dealing with
the painful (and sometimes secret) "Invisible Wounds" of life experiences.
They exist in every walk of life,
and range in age from infancy to the wise elders among us. They appear to many as ordinary people, but they
are children to some, parents and friends to others, providers of vital services to all of us. Many feel lost
and alone, even when they are not. "Heroes", because in spite of the anguish harbored inside, they valiantly
struggle to maintain some sense of normalcy as they deal with day to day responsibilities.
